         2.1 Desktop/Print + Web License

         (Desktop/Print License)
  • The License Owner is authorized to install and employ the Font Software within the scope of their organizational infrastructure.
  • The License Owner is granted the right to use the Font Software for the creation of static documents, images, objects, signage, logos and wordmarks, books and other kinds of printed matter, merchandise, and other similar deliverables, solely for a single project. For example, a project may include the creation of a visual identity for an exhibition in a particular space or gallery, or the branding of a specific space. The Desktop & Print license also covers the production of design assets and video content for social media channels (such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat or similar) and other platforms (including YouTube, television, movies, commercials) of a single brand.
  • The Font Software may be provided to commercial printers or prepress facilities exclusively for the purpose of final output and printing materials for the License Owner. This usage is restricted to the timeframe required to complete the specific project and must be confined to the requirements of that project alone. Accordingly, the License Owner must guarantee that the printers and service providers involved comply with the terms and conditions, outlined in the License Agreement (EULA), and receive a copy of it. The Licensee is responsible for ensuring that all external copies of the Font Software is deleted upon completion of the service.
  • The License Owner is prohibited from employing the Font Software for any purposes that are not expressly authorized under the terms of this license type.

          (Web License)
  • The License Owner is authorized to install and employ the Font Software within the scope of their organizational infrastructure.
  • The License Owner is authorized to install and embed the Font Software into a single website domain or sub-domains that they own and administer, with no restrictions on the amount of traffic the site may accommodate. Multiple top-level domains owned by a single License Owner require the appropriate number of licenses to be acquired, either as a package, if available, or individually. For more information about the Company Size as a license metric, please refer to (1) License Metric & Authorization. The designated website domain(s) are to be explicitly shared with the Provider and the License Owner is required to ensure that the Font Software is self-hosted using technology no other than CSS @font-face. The License Owner is expressly prohibited from utilizing any third-party font hosting services, or putting the Font softwore on public servers or public repositories.
  • Only web-font formats may be used (WOFF, WOFF2, provided by the Licensor). Desktop Font Software formats (OTF, TTF), provided for example with a Desktop & Print License may be used in desktop software such as Figma, but License Owners are not allowed to use these on the web.
  • The License Owner is prohibited from employing the Font Software for any purposes that are not expressly authorized under the terms of this license type.
